The story of two brothers separated by one woman. After returning home from the army, Vasek (Ladislav Potmesil) has married Bozka (Eva Trejtnarová) and the couple now live at her parents' house. Vasek is unhappy both with his work and with sharing the house with Bozka's parents. He and his friend Ruda (Oldrich Vlach) decide to take a temporary job in Ostrava for a year. Bozka is against this, but Vasek gets his way. Mining is hard work but Vasek gradually adapts to it. He gets homesick from time to time and wants to go back, but his pride always wins out. Once he really does travel back to see Bozka, but he doesn't find her at home.

The Prague band Vltava celebrated its 30th anniversary with a concert at Palác Akropolis featuring a number of popular guests and guest drummer Petr Čtvrtníček. Hosted by Johana Matoušková and Pavel Kučera.

Sliding, skiing, snow forts, snowball fights, in short, winter is the right season for the children from the village under the Šibeničák hill to have fun. Their leader has always been Zrzek, the son of the local undertaker. But then Myšák, whose father had become the chairman of the agricultural cooperative, moved into the village, and he pulled all the boys to his side, especially because he could take the boys on the horses his father sometimes lent him. Proud Zrzek left the group rather than submit to Myshak. Only his friend Barbora remained faithful to him, helping him catch birds, especially the proverbial black raven.

Sergeant John Mackenzie is flying to Russia from the United States under the professional exchange program. The American not only becomes the partner of investigator Vasilisa Vikhreva, but also temporarily settles in her apartment. It's hard for John and Vasilisa to work together — the difference in characters and mentalities affects. But the successful results of joint investigations convince the leadership to create a special department around them to combat crimes committed by foreigners and against foreigners in Russia. Unraveling one case after another, the partners find themselves embroiled in an international espionage game around a major scientific discovery.
